Corneal thickness not enough for laser eye surgery?
I've been told that the thickness in my corneas don't fall within the guidelines for laser eye surgery. Apparently there are slight red parts when they do one of the tests and I measure at 25. I'm gutted . I am going to get a second opinion but I was told they don't recommend I have it at this time. Very sad ;(

I wouldn't rule out laser eye surgery just yet until you have been for a second or possibly third opinion!
Some of the lasers remove less corneal tissue when performing the treatment which means they can treat a thinner cornea.
