Refractive Lens Exchange Taunton

Optical Express generally only recommend refractive lens exchange if you are over the age of 40 years old. The reason for this is because RLE will remove the natural focussing ability of your eye. Once you are over the age of 40 your focussing ability starts to diminish anyway meaning you are then a candidate for lens exchange.

It is however now possible to have a multi-focal lens implants which is capable of correcting you’re your distance and reading vision.
